HeadTremor.com is the head tremor information site of Neuromodulation in Turkey, the deep brain stimulation center led by Prof. Atilla YILMAZ, MD at Ataşehir Medicana International Hospital, Istanbul. The center focuses on DBS for Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia and selected psychiatric conditions, and has performed 1,200+ neuromodulation procedures, including 800+ DBS surgeries, for patients from 60+ countries.

Founder

Neuromodulation in Turkey was founded by Prof. Atilla YILMAZ, MD, who leads the center and performs every operation. He is President of the Middle-Eastern Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery (MSSFN), sits on the boards of the World Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery and the International Neuromodulation Society, and holds proctorship agreements with Medtronic, Abbott and Boston Scientific. He is the first author of the published double-target Vim+PSA series for rare tremor syndromes ^[1].
